Soldier, "The Factory" author Ihor Mysiak killed in action
The poet, novelist, author of the novel "Factory", Ihor Mysiak, was killed in action, the publishing house "Tempora" reports on Telegram.
In early March 2022, he joined a UAF Territorial Defense Forces unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Later, he found himself in the ranks of the Winter Campaign Knights separate mechanized brigade. He took part in the liberation of Kherson oblast from the Russian invaders.
Ihor Mysiak was a poet and prose author. He was born on June 16, 1993, in Lviv oblast. He studied history at the Drohobych Pedagogical University. Took part in the Revolution of Dignity. Since fall 2014 to late summer 2015, he served in the Azov Regiment as an ambulance paramedic and a rescue fighter.
As a a poet and novelist, he won the "Khortytsias' Bells 2018" contest, the "Irpin Parnassus 2018" festival, the "Zhytomyr TEM 2019" contest and the "An T-R-Act 2020" festival. His works were published in the magazines "Literaturny Chernihiv", "Dzvin", the anthology "Young Voices", and several almanacs.
In 2022, his debut novel "The Factory" was published by the publishing house "Tempora".
