Shura Ryazantseva is from Yalta (Crimea, currently occupied). She was taken prisoner by the Russians in 2014, which she spoke about in an interview with Suspilne Krym in March 2024.

Before Russia's full-scale invasion, she used to be a costume designer, dressing the actors of "Kvartal 95" in particular. During the Revolution of Dignity, Shura was dragging the wounded from Instytutska St. to safety. On February 24, 2022, the woman went to an enlistment office in Kyiv as a volunteer and joined a ground defense unit two weeks later.

Shura turned 40 on June 2. On the same day, she said that she had recently joined a new military unit at the AAFU.

Shura Ryazantseva worked as a stylist and costume artist for Inter TV, Studio Kvartal 95, the show "Orel and Reshka", and Ukraina TV, writes NV.
