Siumar believes terrorists hunt filming crews in Donbas because they need publicity

In Donbas terrorists hunt filming crews and journalists because they need publicity. This was the statement by the secretary of the Council of National Security and Defense of Ukraine Victoria Siumar during the round table in Ukrinform. She explained that all over the world terrorists strive for publicity, as they need to instill fear and they instill fear when journalists inform about it, so they capture journalists because this is a topic that will get coverage for sure. Siumar pointed out that it is difficult to counteract such actions as several mobile phone operators in Ukraine are Russian companies as are their satellites so even using cell phones may put the journalists at risk of capture.
