Shaposhnikov is accused of hooliganism, his complaint about policeman’s attack dismissed

Chuhuyivsky city court of Kharkivska oblast initiated a criminal investigation under Criminal Code article on hooliganism against the leader of the project “Road Control” Rostyslav  Shaposhnikov and “Road Control” journalists Volodymyr Maralov and Mykhailo Honcharuk. This was reported on the website of “Road Control”.

On September 8, Shaposhnikov just returned home after he was held captive in the ATO zone near Ilovaysk, when he received a notification about a criminal case against him.

The incident in question took place on July 11 in Kharkivska oblast, when a road police officer attacked Shaposhnikov, tried to take away his video camera, seized the car keys from Maralov, another Road Control journalist, and then wanted the journalists to resolve the conflict with him via fisticuffs. Shaposhnikov called police and filed a complaint about the attack.
