Shahed fragments destroy the car of Channel 5 editor, damage her Kyiv apartment
The Russian shelling strike on Kyiv on October 29 resulted in a Shahed drone fragment hitting the car and the family apartment of the Channel 5 literary editor Natalya Denysenko, reports Channel 5.
According to the channel, Natalya's car burned to the ground and the windows in her apartment were broken. Her husband and elderly grandmother were in the apartment at the time of the impact. Neither was injured.
"The car burned to the ground, the windows were blown out by the shock wave, small pieces of debris battered the walls, furniture and clothes," the channel reports.

Natalya said that her grandmother has mobility issues and could not be moved. The day before, her husband refilled the car's gas tank, so when the drone fragment hit it, the car exploded immediately.

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, fallen debris was recorded in the Solomyanskyi district following the Russian drone strike. A fire broke out in several apartments of a multi-story residential building. 18 people were evacuated from the house. Nine people were injured, including one child.
