Security Service of Ukraine detains blogger accused of separatism
On July 3, SBU officers detained a blogger from Kharkiv Andriy Borodavka in Boryspil (Kyivska oblast). Borodavka was a suspect in the case on infringement upon the territorial integrity of Ukraine, and was hiding on the territory of the Russian Federation for a long time. This was reported by a source in law enforcement agencies, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“He was detained in Boryspil. It was on Sunday. He arrived not from Russia - no planes arrive to our country now from there. I cannot tell you from which country he arrived”, the source said.
In 2014, Andriy Borodavka was an active supporter of pro-Russian actions and Anti-Maidan in Kharkiv and was covering them. Later, he was wanted for anti-Ukrainian activities and escaped to Russia. In May, there was an unconfirmed information that Borodavka can be forced out of Russia for violating migration laws.
