Security Service of Ukraine asks Internet Association to block separatist websites

The Security Service of Ukraine asks the Internet Association of Ukraine to block the websites that proliferate information, which "promotes war, national hostility, violent overthrowing of the constitutional order, or violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine." The Association’s head Tetiana Popova receved a corresponding letter as of July 23.  The Department of counterintelligence protection of the state’s interests in regard to informational security asks to block access to websites that are registered both in Ukraine and abroad.

The list of the websites the Security Service of Ukraine asks to block includes maidan.ru; anrimaidan.com; polemika.com; rusmir.in.ua and others.
