Scandalous editor-in-chief Iryna Havrilova fired from "Radio Vesti"

07.07.2016, 00:11

The media holding “Vesti-Ukraina” decided to cease cooperation with Iryna Havrilova on the next day after her assignment to the position of the editor-in-chief of the resource. The relevant message was published on the radio’s page on Facebook, Novoye Vremia reports.

As the reason of this decision, the administration names "reputation risks caused by public statements by Iryna Havrilova on her personal social network page". The public statements in question were of anti-Ukrainian nature, in particular, the public was shocked by her acidic response to the message about the death of Right Sector fighter and singer of the Opera of Paris, Vasyl Slipak.
