SBU: two residents of Kherson region are sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment for dissemination of separatist materials

Novokakhovskyi city court returned guilty of two residents of Kherson region in trespass against territorial integrity and constitutional order of Ukraine following the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine) materials, SBU press-center informs. 

The law-enforcers established that in 2014 two men disseminated printing edition “Novorosia” in Nova Kakhovka. The special service officials detained one of propagandists in the post office during receiving mail from Donbas and afterwards his associate.

According to experts conclusions, the edition of received newspaper contained public direct calls for violent overthrow of constitutional order and also commitment of intended acts, directing to change of territorial limits and state border of Ukraine in violation of the Constitution of Ukraine.

The court returned guilty of offenders in commitment of crimes, stipulated by p.1 Article 109 and p.2 Article 110 of the Criminal code of Ukraine and sentenced 6 years of imprisonment.
