The Security service of Ukraine is searching the apartment of Volodymyr Skachko, journalist and author of online resource Anti-fascist due to criminal proceedings instituted regarding anti-Ukrainian activity of Russian state media structures in Ukraine, as to
Detektor Media.
Olena Hitlyanska, press officer of SBU told anwersing the question of Detektor Media, said Skachko was one of main authors who wrote stories made to order by Russian propagandist mass media, probably by several mass media, not one.
Volodymyr Skachko is author of numerous publications criticizing Ukrainian authorities in Russian online editions as well, he is taking part in talk shows on Russian TV channels. Until March 2014, he was editor in chief of the weekly Kyivsky Telegraph.
