SBU detained editor of website connected to Odesa Antimaidan

23.10.2014, 22:29

Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained the editor of Odesa pro-Russian and anti-Ukrainian web portal «Informaciyny Centr» Yevhen Anokhin. Anokhin is one of the leaders of the pro-Russian movement «Narodna Alternatyva.» The website “Informaciyny Centr” informs that its editorial board believes this arrest to be political pressure for opposing the current Ukrainian government. Yevhen Anokhin is generally known as a comrade to Anton Davidchenko, well-known Odesa provocateur and organizer of Odesa Antimaidan, who is currently hiding in Russia.

The Security Service of Ukraine reported that on October 16 they detained four Antimaidan activists with a load of firearms, ammo, explosives, and local maps. They had a task from the Russian intelligence service to conduct a series of acts of terror to destabilize the situation in the region
