SBU claims "Vesti"’s inspection results are restricted information

The results of the inspections of the newspaper and radio “Vesti” constitutei restricted-access information. This was the reply to an information request by the user of the media outlet "Dostup do pravdy" Pavlo Chornotenko to the Security Service of Ukraine, the media outlet reports. The request was about sources of financing of "Vesti", how and when the inspection was conducted, and whether the content was analyzed for appeals to violation of the  constitutional order. Also, the request was made to set out the measures taken after the inspection. SBU informed that criminal case has been started regarding "Vesti", and release of any information related to that is in the competence on investigators and prosecutors. The criminal case relates to income laundering and fake entrepreneurship by LLC "Visti mass media" and company "Ledis" that transferred money to its accounts.
