Savik Shuster had his Ukrainian employment permit revoked
Kyiv city employment center orally confirmed to representatives of Savik Shuster's channel 3s.tv that TV anchor Savik Shuster's employment permit for the territory of Ukraine was revoked. This was reported to “Detector media” by the director of the channel 3s.tv’s legal department Tetiana Karmazina. She said that they learned the news from mass media, not from an official notification that was supposed to be sent to them.
In the afternoon, the channel representatives went to the Employment Center personally to confirm this information. The official reason for revoking the permit was a criminal case that allegedly was opened against Shuster. The case they refer to relates not to Shuster personally, but to the channel's alleged tax evasion (which Shuster claimed to be just a case of pressure against his program). Yet, the employment center officials somehow treat it as a concluded criminal case against Shuster.
