SAR journalists visit the IMI's Mediabaza to report on Russia's war on Ukraine
A delegation of journalists from the South African Republic and Great Britain discussed the Black Sea grain corridor, food security, and the situation in the Azov–Black Sea region with the Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk in Odesa on March 4, reports the regional IMI representative.
The meeting took place in the Institute of Mass Information's regional hub "Mediabaza Odesa/Kherson".
The journalists representing the leading South African online media were interested in security issues and, above all, food security.

"Our colleagues were obviously interested in the grain corridor operations, stability in food security, and the operational situation in the Black Sea," says Dmytro Pletenchuk.
He told the foreign media about the events that have been taking place in the Black Sea since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, the security situation developments, the past and current challenges in the sea area.
The conversation also touched on the problem of mine pollution, air strikes and countering the Russian Black Sea Fleet operations.
