Sadovyi will sue TV channel ZIK for releasing film criticizing him

15.10.2015, 18:09

The mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi plans to sue the local TV channel ZIK, which in the evening of October 14 aired an almost 80-minute-long film with sharp criticism of the mayor's work, ZAXID.net informs. The film also accused Sadovyi of corruption, cooperation with Russian special services, and other offences. At that, the film’s anonymous authors failed to give any documentary proof of the accusations.

According to Sadovyi, the film is just black PR before the elections, and the TV channel ZIK’s owner Petro Dyminskyi has some beef against the mayor as the mayor denied him ownership of 17 hectares of a park zone near the stadium "Ukraina". The mayor added that he plans to sue the channel after the elections.
