State Administration of Affairs refused to respond to the request of the media outlet “No to corruption!” how much taxpayers money were used to maintain each government-owned residence administrated by this governmental agency last year. The response of the agency to the media outlet's request included straight refusal to answer this question “No to corruption!” reports.
The response clarified, however, that the agency manages 12 government-owned residences (7 are in Kyiv city and 5 are on the occupied territory of Crimea, these latter are not being financed since 2014). The funds spent for maintenance, however, were not specified, instead referring to the general budget item that includes all costs spent for functioning of the President of Ukraine. The agency also did not respond if it has any income from the excursions and other tourism and rent related incomes from the property in question.
The media outlet emphasized that the same agency had no problem in providing such information that they requested a year ago, for the year 2016.
