The Russian troops shelled Zaporizhzhia city on 24 March 2026, hitting the apartment owned by Espreso TV war correspondent turned serviceman Artem Lahutenko and killing the tenant living in it, Lahutenko reported in a Facebook post, attaching a photo by the State Emergency Service (SES).

“Today, the pigs shelled my apartment in Zaporizhzhia. The man who was renting it died. His girlfriend is in the hospital,” the correspondent wrote.

As previously reported, in December 2025 a Russian shelling strike in Kramatorsk (Donetsk oblast) damaged the apartment of Novyny Kramatorskoho Rayonu chief editor Andriy Hryn.
