Russian hackers scaled up activity in Ukraine cyber space ahead of election

The hackers groups in connection to Russia, such as Fancy Bear, The Shadow Brokers and others scaled up its activity in Ukraine cyber space before presidential election, making attempts to get access to public authoroities networks, as Serhiy Demedyuk, head of cyber police told interviewed by DT.UA. Lately, as Demedyuk told, - quoted by Ukrinform news agency, - all central government bodies are systematically targeted, and in particular those which are under protection of the State service of special communications and protection of information. Their aim is to get into its network”, he said. Demydyuk added the cyber police is revealing more and more of spread of modified malicious software, that had been used in the past by Russian hackers and they observe as well spreading of new software unknown by Ukrainian experts.
