North Caucasian military district court in Rostov-on-Don rejected a motion to start a case based on application of the imprisoned Ukrainian producer Oleh Sentsov complaining about torture. According to the protocol, the FSB representatives questioned the claim that the injuries sustained by Sentsov were caused by his "sexual practices". Before, one of the chief witnesses against Sentsov, Afanasyev, admitted that he was forced to lie against Sentsov under threats, physical and mental pressure of Russian officers.
Ukraine considers the whole litigation illegal and demands to release the Ukrainian citizen.
