russia pays €2000 a month to public figures for spreading propaganda – Bulgarian authorities
russia pays Bulgarian politicians, journalists, public figures, and others for shaping a public opinion favorable to it.
This was reported by the Bulgarian government's spokeswoman, head of Prime Minister's office Lena Borislavova on Darik radio, reports Espreso, citing Euractiv.
According to Bulgarian special services, Bulgarian public figures, famous journalists, politicians, and other public persons receive 4 thousand levs (about 2 thousand euros) a month from russia for spreading russian propaganda in Bulgaria.
According to her, some speakers have gotten used to deceiving the public by playing on human passions and fears.
"All of you who spit on the EU and NATO and support putin's actions in Ukraine free of charge, know this: you screwed up. Those who inspire you to do so are being paid. Every month," said Lena Borislavova.
