Rostislav Shaposhnikov: "Yehor Vorobiov is still in captivity as he called himself group coordinator"

The head of the project «Road Control» Rostislav Shaposhnikov, who was held hostage together with the Espresso.TV operator Taras Chkan and journalist Yehor Vorobiov, shared the details of how they were captured trying to get out of the Russian encircling near Ilovaysk (Donetska oblast).   

According to Shaposhnikov, they were captured on a checkpoint of the Russian military. The gunmen put them in a truck along with a dozen of captured Ukrainian soldiers, where their eyes were covered and their hands were tied, and took them some place else; on the way Vorobiov was taken off the truck.

Shaposhnikov believes that they did so because Vorobiov said he was the head of the filming crew as he was there on an editorial assignment.

Shaposhnikov and Chkan were released, and Vorobiov is still being held in captivity.
