"RBK-Ukraine" received threats warning not to publish news about Onishchenko

12.12.2016, 14:16

Valeriy Kalnysh, the Chief editor of "RBK-Ukraine" said that his media received anonymous threats warning not to publish news related to the member of parliament from the "Volia narodu" party (The people's will) Oleksandr Onishchenko, who accuses the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in political corruption. Reports "Media Detector" referring to the Facebook post of Valeriy Kalnysh.

"We ask your media do not publish any news related to Oleksandr Onishchenko. Otherwise you will be in a big trouble. Onishchenko is a citizen of the Russian Federation, in case of  your any relations with him, you will be responsible for the law. Think of yourself and your family in the first place!!! "- written in the message.

In response, Valeriy Kalnysh said that the news about Oleksandr Onishchenko are going to be published regardless of their social importance.
" The RBC-Ukraine recieved such a letter with threats on the news about Onishchenko. There may be few options, either written by those who are in favor of Onishchenko or those who are against but want us to think that they are "pro"; just an a**. In any case, the signal received and not taken as a guide to action. News and notes about Onishchenko will be published exactly as he deserves, regardless of any threats from an a** (with no matter to which camp of Onishchenko they belong),"- he wrote.

Recall, Oleksandr Onishchenko, who is abroad, said that the Administration of President committed bribery of deputies for certain voting through his office. He adds that he is ready to transfer these materials to NABU.
