Rayon.in.ua network hacked
Rayon.in.ua websites network has been hacked on January 15, as they reported on its site.
“Malefactors were trying to delete information all across the network. The technicians have detected external interventions in time and prevented breakage,” the editorial board reported.
Natalia Pakhaychuk, editor-in-chief of Rayon.in.ua, said to IMI correspondent in Volyn region that the attack began at 19:00 on January 15.
“The site worked, but not correctly. Our journalists revealed some problems and our technical support specialists immediately reacted. We have several hypotheses of who could have been behind it. Recently, one of the persons whom we reported about in our story demanded to revoke the story and we refused to do it. But this is just one example of many. For several hours, hackers and IT specialists worked in parallel, ” Natalia Pakhichuk said.
The site is currently working as usual.
As the newspaper reminded, on November 8, 2019, the first attempt was made to damage the network of "Rayon.in.ua" sites. Then the attackers managed to paralyze the edition work for several hours.
