"Radio duel" on the Crimea administrative border - Kostynsky
The member of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Serhiy Kostynsky told Krym.Realii about "radio duel" on the Crimea administrative border between radio stations that broadcast from the territory of continental Ukraine and radio stations that broadcast from the annexed peninsula.
"There is a "radio duel" on the administrative border. And we set the rules for this duel. We are following their (Russian Crimean authorities - CR) initiatives, and it shows that they have no resources. All they can do is to establish transmitters,"- a member of the National Council said.
He added that the broadcasting from Dzhankoy and Krasnoperekopsk happened before, and covers a portion of the Kherson region.
"From our side, we installed the first tower on Chongar, and we are increasing Radio Tower in Chaplinka. This will allow us to extend broadcasting on the territory of Crimea. During this year we will try to solve the issue of occupiers broadcasting to Kherson. The law "On special regime of speech" will help us in this issue," - commented Kostynsky.
