Publishing house director forbade journalist to take photos at enterprise

 Mar. 15, 2013, director of the State Enterprise "Publishing and Printing "Tavrida" Andriy Lytvakov prohibited Anna Andriyevska, correspondent of Argumenty Nedeli - Crimea Internet-edition to take photos of Smoking Area plate in the hallway of the enterprise, the edition reported.

The incident occurred before the meeting of the Electoral Commission of Crimea. Andriyevska noted the sign casually, in the hallway leading to the printing shop, where the meeting was.

Six months ago, a law banning smoking in public places has joined into force in Ukraine, thus, smoking in state buildings is prohibited.

According to the Internet-edition, when the enterprise director saw the journalist taking photos of the plate, he said: "I will seize your camera and drive you out of here." He forbade to take photos in the building, and repeatedly said that the law gives him the right to expel journalists.
