Prosecutor’s office of Mykolaiv region refused to disclose to journalists names of people who were its leaders in “lustration period”

The prosecutor’s office of Mykolaivska oblast refused to provide to the journalist of the online media outlet “NikVesti”, Oleh Dereniuha, the list of the names of people who were the heads of the oblast prosecutor’s office in the period from February 25, 2010, to February 22, 2014, saying that disclosing this information can damage the reputation of these people.

Doing so, they violated the Law of Ukraine “On Access to Public Information”, as the media lawyer of IMI Maksym Ratushnyi commented.
