Prosecutor's office interrogates Hnap again for his story about judges’ luxurious vacations

On February 23, the Military Prosecutor's office interrogated the journalist and editor-in- chief of the independent agency of journalist investigations "Slidstvo Info" Dmytro Hnap regarding legality of the information he collected about numerous travels of judges to luxurious resorts in exotic countries. Dmytro Hnap himself reported this on his Facebook page. One of the judges in question, Ruslan Arsiriy, was officially in Kyiv doing his job in the court, while in fact he was abroad having vacations. The journalists also suspect that the origin of money used by judges to have their recreation is bribes.

Hnap commented that Prosecutor's office has questions to the people who uncovered the facts that might be a key to investigating corruption, instead of the judges themselves who seem to be doing quite fine - Arsiriy was in fact elected to the council of judges lately. This is the evidence that the old system never changed, Hnap added.
