Prosecutor sues two programs of TV channel ICTV for stories about him

Prosecutor Oleksander Korniets is suing analytical programs of the TV channel ICTV “Fakty” ("Facts") and “Facts of the week with Oksana Sokolova”. “Detector media” reports this, with reference to a Facebook post by ICTV journalist Khrystyna Kotsira. The TV channel’s press service confirmed the fact. The stories about the prosecutor, “"Diamond prosecutors" are but a tip of the iceberg”, “Shocking details in case of “diamond prosecutors,” and the channel’s own investigation “Case of "diamond prosecutors " and prosecutor wars in the General Prosecutor's Office” were aired on ICTV in March of 2016.
