Portnov threatens journalists with pecuniary claims for reports on high treason

Once more someone of you reports in any form that I was suspected of or charged with high treason, you will be sued with a pecuniary claim. We will jointly own your property, assets and money, ” he wrote. Andriy Portnov added that previously, he had won a trial against Ukrinform over the news: " Case against Portnov instituted by the prosecutor's office, the SBU is only to investigate it." The court ordered the news agency to publish a refutation. Earlier, it was reported that Andriy Portnov filed a defamation claim against Petro Poroshenko, political party European Solidarity and Pryamy TV Channel. He also filed a lawsuit against the chairman of the board of the Anti-Corruption Center Vitaliy Shabunin, the Prosecutor General's Office and 24^th TV channel (PJSC Lux Television and Radio Company).
