Police does not allow the journalists to leave Kyiv City Council, says the rally participants storm the building
The journalists, photographers and camera operators are unable to leave the building of Kyiv City Council. All doors of the building are locked. Police does not let them go and give the reason for this that rally participants are allegedly storming the building. Although no storming is taking place by this time, and the majority of opposition supporters have gone home, informs the Visti newspaper.
For the context, today the supporters of opposition made several unsuccessful attempts to storm the building of Kyiv City Council. The City Council has 119 issues on the agenda, mainly of social nature. Yet, among them there are also six land allocation issues – including the issue of allocating money for additional construction of entryways to the new bus station at Teremky, for finalizing the reconstruction of the reception area of Oleksandrivska hospital, as well as heat insulation for hospital and their preparation for winter.
Also, money will be allocated for repairing the city ambulance station, construction of housing for socially vulnerable strata of population and for the city targeted program "Development of e-government in Kyiv."
