The National police did not reply to the inquiry letter sent by “Ukraiynska Pravda” about the progress of investigation into criminal proceedings over video published in a social network where a van hit the presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky,

“Pre-trial investigation of a separate criminal proceeding of is underway regarding the data provided in your inquiry letter. … According to the results of the pre-trial investigation, a decision will be made in compliance with the requirements of the criminal procedural law of Ukraine, ”the police said.
As “UP” noted, the police ignored all questions raised in the request. In particular, “Ukraiynska Pravda” asked:
- Why the proceedings are instituted under Art.346 (threat or violence against the statesman or public figure), if Zelensky did not occupy any position specified by this article at the time of the video release?
- Whether the investigators have established any suspect / suspects in the case?
- Are these people detained?Whether the police is aware of their location?
- Have notice of charges has been prepared for those persons?
