People in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia oblast are being coerced into voting for Putin
The occupation administration of the Zaporizhzhia oblast has begun a collection of mandatory signatures in support of Vladimir Putin as a presidential candidate for the Russian elections, reports the National Resistance Center.
"Typically for them, the signature collection involves coercion. Most of the open voting booths stand empty while 'field volunteer teams' (brought in from Russia) do their job at state-owned enterprises and in other budget institutions," the message says.
People are forced to sign papers that have no legal value. This process will continue until the end of January.
"And the subtext here is purely propaganda – to show the locals' loyalty to the Nazi leader," the Ukrainian underground resistance says.
