Owner of "Khortytsia" demands compensation for reputation damages from weekly newspaper "Subota Plus"

Yevhen Cherniak, the owner of "Khortytsia", filed a lawsuit against the weekly newspaper "Subota Plus" and demands compensation for reputation damages from it for publishing an article about his underhanded cooperation with Artem Tymchenko, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Iskra.” He set the compensation at the amount of 120 thousand hryvnias.

The author of the material in question keeps his resolve as Artem Tymchenko had long made public his illegal cooperation with Cherniak. Currently, Artem Tymchenko is accused of serious violations of law due to his separatist activities.
