One of people who organized the terroristic act near the TV channel “Espresso” was detained - SBU head
The officers of the Security Service of Ukraine detained the person who is suspected of organizing of the terroristic act near the office of TV channel “Espresso” in October of 2017. Head of the agency Vasyl Hrytsak at his briefing in Odesa, UNIAN reports. “Recently, literally several days ago, we detained one of the people who participated in organizing of this terroristic act. Today, I can assuredly say that we solved this terroristic act, in cooperation with the prosecutor's office”, he said. According to him, two more people can be accomplices in this crime, “are staying on the other territory”. The head of SBU added that the search in the detained person's place revealed that he had weapons, including grenades, a grenade launcher, and explosives. Hrytsak promised that soon he will conduct a briefing on the details of the case. As IMI reported, on October 25, 2017, in Kyiv, near the building of the TV channel “Espresso” office, there was an explosion, which caused injuries of MP Ihor Mosiychuk, and the director of the Agency of Situation Modeling, Vitaliy Bala. Two other men were killed by the explosion - MP's personal body guard, 31-yar-old police sergeant Ruslan Kushnir, and former police officer, 36-year-old Mykhailo Mormyl', who was passing by the location at the time of the explosion.
