14.09.2020, 15:53

On September 17, IMI is going to conduct first legal webinar for journalists and other media workers on local elections "How to distinguish a candidate".

During the webinar you will learn about the subjects of the election process in local elections. In compliance with the new Electoral Code, the number of people nominating candidates in local elections has changed.

During the webinar we will gain insight into:

-What are the subjects of the election and who are not.

-How to understand how an ordinary political party differs from the subject of the election.

-If we mention the name, is he a candidate or just a politician.

-Where to look for information on the subjects of the election.

-Is it possible that in one street there is a pre-election propaganda of the subject of the election, and in the next one, this is an advertisement within the general advertising.

Coach: IMI lawyer Ali Safarov.

All registered participants will get a link to the Zoom conference.

The duration of the webinar is one and a half hours, in a "question-answer" format.

Please, fill  out an online questionnaire . Deadline - September 16, 23.00.

The entry to the event is free.

It will be recalled that from September 17 to October 15, inclusive, IMI will hold a series of free of charge webinars for journalists and other media workers on local elections "New Electoral Code: Answers for Journalists."
