On October 22: fact-checking training for regional journalists by Thomson Reuters Foundation and IMI

On October 22, at 3 p.m, an online training "Fact-checking and working with sources" will be held organized by the Thomson Reuters Foundation in partnership with the Institute of Mass Information. 

The main teacher is Olena Churanova, a well-known media expert, fact checker with the StopFake project, editor of the Infocrime project, senior lecturer at The Kyiv Mohyla School of Journalism.

The training is aimed to improve professional skills of editors-in-chief and journalists from regional media. 

The training course is supposed to be held in the format of a Zoom conference. 

Deadline for registration : 23:59 on October 20, 2021. The registration form is available HERE. 

Moderator : Nina Kuryata, media consultant, media trainer, former editor-in-chief of BBC News Ukraine. 

The project is implemented by the NGO "Institute of Mass Information" and funded by the Thomson Reuters Foundation under the program of support for independent media in the Eastern Partnership countries with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Commonwealth of Great Britain.
