On July 6, Thompson Reuters Foundation and IMI hold training for regional media

On July 6, Thompson Reuters Foundation in partnership with the Institute of Mass Information hold the training "Modern Global Standards of Professional Journalism”. 

The workshop is designed for editors-in-chief and journalists from regional media. 

The event will be held online via ZOOM-conference.

The issues to be discussed are:

• Up-to-date global requirements in professional journalism
• Main standards for quality work of a  journalist
• Examples from practice
• What to do with mistakes
• How to separate facts from comments and keep a balance.

Trainer is Nina Kuriyata, media consultant, media coach, former editor-in-chief of BBC News Ukraine;

Moderator - Oksana Romanyuk, Executive Director of IMI.

The project is implemented by the Institute of Mass Information and funded by the Thomson Reuters Foundation as part of a program to support independent media in the Eastern Partnership countries with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Commonwealth of Great Britain.
