Oleksander Tkachenko stepped down as CEO of “1+1”

Photo credit: Liga.net Oleksander Tkachenko has resigned as CEO of “1+1” TV channel due to his election as MP from “Servant of the People” party, as “Ukraiynska Pravda” reported. He remains an honorary president of TV channel. "As Oleksandr Tkachenko, the CEO of “1+1” media, was elected a people’s deputy to the Verkhovna Rada and cannot combine this activity with his duty within executive body, on August 16, the supervisory board considered his demand and signed his dismissal from office," – as to the press service of the group “1+1” media ”. “I sell my 5% stake in “1+1” to an investment company. There is a good company, I will finally be well-to-do,” Oleksander Tkachenko said. He added that another his business, he   placed under management of a law firm, which he did not specify. Tkachenko also added that journalists who owned shares in the holding and became MPs are also going to sell it. Vyacheslav Mienko has been appointed as the new General Director of Studio “1+1” LLC since August 19. The media holdings has been divided into business units and corporate services. In particular, they formed the business unit “Television Business” run by Maxim Kryvitsky, “1+1 Production” run by Viktoria Levchenko, “Pay TV” run by Yaroslav Pakholchuk, “1+1 Digital and Innovation” run by Anna Tkachenko. Corporate services include the Finance department headed by Dmytro Tuzov, the GR Department headed by Vyacheslav Miyenko, the Marketing communications department headed by Svetlana Paveletska, the Strategy and risk department headed by Viktoria Romanova, the HR department headed by Larissa Bruver and Shared Services run by Yaroslav Pakholchuk, which englobes technical, legal, security, administration, and other departments. Since now, the strategic management of the group will be exercised not by CEO, but by the Management board, whose composition is approved by the shareholders of the company. The Board included Vyacheslav Mienko, Svetlana Paveletska, Yaroslav Pakholchuk, Maxim Kryvitsky, Dmitry Tuzov and Tkachenko's wife, Anna Tkachenko. The Chairman of the Board is to be elected at its first meeting on August 28.
