Odesa mayor pried off microphone from journalist's hands

City mayor of Odesa Hennadiy Trukhanov pried off the microphone from the hands of the media outlet “Megafon”'s correspondent Bohdan Osinskyi after the journalist asked him to comment on some phrases the mayor said about the activist of the local environment protection organization “Green leaf”, “IzbirKom” reports.

The incident took place on July 5 in the meeting hall of Odeska Oblast State Administration. The journalist's question related to recent derogatory mentioning of "Green leaf", NGO protecting trees and parks from being destroyed. The editorial office of "Megafon" is currently deciding whether they should file an official complaint to the law enforcement agencies.
