Odesa journalist and author Ihor Teryokhin killed in action
On January 28, Odessa journalist, author, restaurateur Ihor Teryokhin was killed in action.
"Even fighting in a war, you still can't believe that some deaths are real, but the war goes on. And it is with you at every step, one of us or you may be gone any moment. Another person we shared a connection with through work and war, has died. Ihor Teryokhin, seems like it was just recently that you were telling me about your plans – and everything was supposed to be fine, but today you are gone! I still can't accept it for some reason. We will end this war victorious for the sake of all who died and for your sake, for the sake of those who are suffering! We are paying a very high price for this war! And we can but win," wrote military officer Yuriy Dyachenko.
The deceased is survived by his wife Khrystyna and their small son.
Ihor Teryokhin's wake will take place on January 30, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Officers' House in Odesa.
As reported by IMI, ex-spokeswoman for the Luhansk border guard unit and her husband died in Khmelnytskyi oblast.
