Occupiers launch "frontline radio" in Luhansk oblast
The Russian occupiers have started streaming "Z-FM Frontline Radio" in Luhansk oblast, according to the "LPR"-backed LIC website.
It is noted that the radio station was created with the support of the "New Media Development Foundation", which, among others, produced such propaganda content as "Heroes of the Russian Kherson".
The foundation's chair, Oleksandr Malkevych, has said that the radio station started operating in December 2022. Currently, "Z-FM" is broadcasting in the Belgorod region of the RF, with the signal extending to the occupied territories of Kharkiv and Luhansk oblasts of the "LPR."
As IMI reported, being able to listen to Ukrainian radio stations, in particular Suspilne Radio, was what gave the people in occupied Izyum (Kharkiv oblast) hope that they had not been abandoned. Izyum residents shared such memories for the United States Agency for International Development.
