Occupiers in Berdyansk are raiding the homes of families who are not sending their children to local schools – NRC
In occupied Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia oblast, Russian security forces are raiding the homes of families that are not sending their children to local schools to be taught by the Russian curriculum.
This was reported by the National Resistance Center.
They come to such parents and search their homes to check the devices to see if the children attend Ukrainian online schools.
"During the searches, they threaten the parents with fines and taking away the children if the parents do not send them to a Russian school. If the children are 14 or older, they are pressured to receive a Russian passport," the NRC added.
As IMI reported, in the occupied Tokmak city, Zaporizhzhia oblast, the occupation administration is making schoolchildren write letters to Russian soldiers. In the schools of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia oblast, the occupiers are also making children write letters to Russian soldiers.
