Nikopol: unknown burnt journalist's car

On the night of March 11, in Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk region), unknown set a car on fire. Freelance journalist  Ruslan Solovyov, who works for "Horod Nikopol" edition is an owner of the car. The story published on the "Horod Nikopol" reports.

The incident occurred at the private parking lot. Car burned to the ground. Another five cars, parked nearby, damaged together with the journalist's car.
According to Solovyov, his last editorial task was a topic related to a drug trafficking near a public school.

Still, Ruslan Solovyov doesn't have answer on possible arsonist, who commited arson and whether it is connected to his journalistic activities.
"I can not blame anyone, I can not say anything until police investigate the case," - he said. Solovyov said that he did not receive any threats, and he did not argue with anyone, and there is no conflict between him and others.

Nikopol town police, on the fact of arson, opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional destruction or damage of property). The investigation is in the progress, reports Radio Liberty.
