Newspaper «Vzgliad» on behalf of Yatseniuk pleaded with the readers not to go to Maidan because of the rain

27.11.2013, 11:20

The website of the Vzgliad newspaper, associated with the first vice Prime Minister Sergiy Arbuzov, published allegedly on behalf of Arseniy Yatseniuk false pleads not to join the «EuroMaidan», informed Ukrainska Pravda with reference to the Batkivshchyna Party press service.

According to the Batkivshchyna Party press service, the authors of the false statements as if made by Arseniy Yatseniuk suggested the rainy weather in the capital as a make-do reason not to go to Maidan. They failed to mention when Yatseniuk said it and where, and this proves this is a fake. They insist that Yatseniuk never made any such statements, and this is nothing but a misinformation cheap trick by the media outlet controlled by the authorities, which shows just how deeply the people in power are afraid of Maidan.

Earlier, Vzgliad published an article, which read: “Due to the current bad weather conditions in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv authorities denied permits for erecting small architectural forms (including tents, kiosks and canopies) on Maidan, ... and mass rallies and protests in such weather could lead to mass hypothermia. This information comes from the head of the parliamentary faction of the Batkivshchyna Party Arseniy Yatseniuk, who pleads with Ukrainians with weak health to abstain from going to Maidan, at least, until the rain is over».
