12.04.2016, 13:54

On April 7, in the village of Lymanske, Odeska oblast, unidentified men attacked journalists of the Channel 7 and “Dumska TV”, IzbirKom reports.

The incident took place at the time of preparation for knocking down of the monument to Lenin in the village where journalists arrived together with the chairman of Odeska oblast council Anatoliy Urbanskyi.

As the media outlet describes it, several men ran up to the journalists and started beating them, yelling "You Banderites, fascists!". As a result, press service representatives, journalists and cameramen were injured. The oblast council’s press service reports that police was called to the site and was investigating the case. There were three attackers; most likely, they were ex-military who reside in the village. The name of the journalist of "Dumska TV" who was reportedly injured is Yulia Probachiy.
