National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council will get court annul licenses of providers that broadcast six Russian TV channels

On July 17, on its session the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council decided to annul through court the licenses of those TV providers that illegally retranslate the Russian TV channels «Rossiya 1», NTV, TNT, «Peterburg 5», «Zvezda», and REN TV. This decision is connected to the informational security of Ukraine and to switching off of Ukrainian TV channels in Luhansk and Donetska oblasts so that their frequencies are used to broadcast Russian TV channels.
