National security and defense council will examine sanctions against TV channels 112th and NewsOne

The National security and defense council commissioned the Security service of Ukraine (SSU) to complete the verification of activity of TV channels 112th and NewsOne, as to the NSDC decision #82/2019 dated of March 19. 2019, as it is said on the NSDC web-site.

The NSDC is going to apply sanctions after this verification.

IMI informed on October 4th, 2018 the Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution suggesting to impose sanctions against the TV channels 112 and NewsOne due to “anti-Ukrainian activity” of these TV channels.
