National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine statute adopted

The Cabinet of Ministers approved Public Joined-Stock National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine (PJS NPTRCU). This decision was unanimously approved at the government session, UA: Suspilne Movlenia (or UA: Public Broadcasting) reports.

"Within the project, there is an offer to carry out a private placement of the first issue of ordinary registered shares of PJS NPTRCU in the number of 2,544,000 pieces, nominal value of 273 thousand hryvnia each," - Chairman of the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine Oleh Nalyvaiko said.

 Information Policy Minister of Ukraine Yuri Stets presented issue to adopt a rule on approval the PJS NPTRCU statute at the Meeting Agenda of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"A large flock of barking dogs are waiting for us to fail in reform of public television and radio ... Let's put barking dogs' out of humour before New Year and prove that we are doing everything in time, and everything will be good in Ukraine," - Yuri Stets said at the meeting.
