National guard accessorial to Sheremet murder - Kniazev

Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine might be involved in the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet. The head of the National police Sergey Knyazev told in an interview to DW.

"We include it," -  Knyazev answered on whether police considers the version of National guard involvment in the murder of journalist, as the investigation asked the court for access to the phone calls made from the base of "Azov" regiment.

Knyazev noted that Sheremet killers were well prepared, because this crime is still not solved. "This crime committed by people who carefully prepared for it and reduced the most number of their mistakes," - he said.

He added that the police is working closely with the Security Service in this matter and there are no disputes in the investigation of Pavlo Sheremet murder between services.
