National Council will inspect ICTV because of Russian TV series

The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council will conduct an unscheduled inspection of the TV channel ICTV due to its broadcasting of films with violation of Ukrainian legislation, Espreso.TV reports.

The film in question is the movie "Son of the Father of Peoples", which presents many characters that are an embodiment of the Soviet authorities of the Stalin epoch, which is violation of the Laws "On Television and Radio broadcasting" and "On Cinematography". There were also other Russian movies broadcast featuring characters of Russian high command officers. Because of this, the Council resolved to conduct an unscheduled inspection of the channel.
